Harmonized Product Portfolio – Introduction of New Product Names

We are proud to announce an important milestone as part of the merger between Heytex and Mehler Texnologies: the complete harmonization of our product portfolio. This step strengthens our joint brand presence, increases transparency for our customers, and establishes a foundation for consistent, future-proof product architecture.

Why new product names?

With the expanded joint portfolio, establishing a clear, intuitive, and internationally understandable naming system was essential. Since our technical textiles serve a wide range of industries and applications, we based the new naming structure on the primary application of each product.
Each product name now follows a consistent formula:

Main Application + Grammage + Key Technical Features.

Example:
Event Tent 650 FR: developed for event tents; 650 g/m²; flame retardant.
This approach allows customers and partners to immediately understand a product's intended use, simplifying selection and comparison across the entire portfolio.

Nine market segments – one unified system

All products are categorized into nine market segments and further grouped into specific product groups.
For example, the market segment Modular Structure includes the product line Tent.

This new structure ensures:

  • faster orientation

  • transparent application logic

  • easier recommendation of alternatives

  • improved comparability within the portfolio

Your benefits: Clarity & Consistency

The new naming system offers several advantages:

  • Immediate clarity: The product name reveals its intended use.
  • Enhanced transparency: Grammage and essential features are part of the name.
  • Unified structure: All Heytex and Mehler products follow one logic.
  • Simplified communication: Sales, technical teams, and customers speak the same language.
